Project

Urban / Medium

This extension to the Belfast Pedestrian Signage scheme involved the design and installation of ten signs throughout Titanic Quarter. The signs were intended to provide on-the-ground interpretation of the Belfast’s shipbuilding history in advance of the opening of the Titanic Belfast building.

We commissioned internal photography of structures not open to the public - HMS Caroline and the Pump House - and used these images alongside R. J. Welch’s wonderfully atmospheric industrial photography to tell the story of Harland and  Wolff during its Edwardian heyday.
